100% Prepayment
If you're using our recommended workflow of taking 100% prepayment via online booking, the system automatically generates a prepaid invoice that includes both the invoice date and the service date making it compatible for private health claims as per recent updates.
This invoice is automatically available in the Patient Portal for your patient to view, if your clinic does not use the Patient Portal you will need to email the invoice to the patient after the consult. Your patient can then submit this invoice for a health fund claim if required.

Partial Prepayment (e.g. 50% Deposit)
If you are taking a partial prepayment (e.g. a 50% deposit), you will also need to do the following steps:
1. Create a new invoice on the day of the service for the remaining balance, and
2. Share the invoice with the patient for payment.
Please be aware if you are integrated with Xero, prepayment needs to be 100%, otherwise you will need to adjust invoices in Xero for every prepayment.
