You can chat with your patients through the Patient Portal. Praccies will get an email notification when a patient sends a message. The patient will also receive an email notification saying your practitioner has sent you a message, please log in to your Patient Portal account to view it.

Patients start a Chat
Step 1. Log into Patient Portal -> select Courses from the main dashboard menu (or view course) -> select View Course -> select Send Message -> enter message text -> select Send Message. See images below.
You as the praccie will receive the below email notification when a chat is initiated by a patient.
When you reply to the patient they will receive the below email notification from app.simpleclinic.net

Step 2. Select Chat from the main dashboard menu -> select a chat from the list for a full history and to respond -> read messages and reply. See images below.

Step 3. Log in to your SimpleClinic practitioner application -> select Activity Feed from the main left hand menu -> select the chat icon next to the patient name and activity listing -> enter chat text -> select Send. See images below.
Please note: A praccie can only start a chat with a patient if they have opened their course (which creates a record in the activity feed).

Step 4. Log in to your SimpleClinic practitioner application -> select Chat from the main left hand menu -> select the patient name from the list to see the history and to respond.
