The Metabolic Balance integration is available to all certified Metabolic Balance practitioners with active membership.

If you are ready to connect, go to Business Setup -> Integrations -> Metabolic Balance -> Connect
A request is received by the service desk, who will confirm your eligibility for the Metabolic Balance Integration.
Once connected, the first thing you will want to set up is all the Metabolic Balance forms.
These are accessed from Content -> Forms -> Load Form Library.
All Forms will be available to load into your form Library, these will need to be selected and saved individually.

From a patient record, you will see a Metabolic Balance section. This will give you access to the pathology and coaching checklists.
The pathology checklists will allow you to:
- enter pathology directly into the fields
- pull from tests in the Tests section
If you have pathology available to use from previously entered or received data, you will receive a notification to use that test result. This is optional to use previous data.
You will see when viewing the pathology checklist what results are available and which tests are outstanding.

To send these tests to Metabolic Balance, you will need to login directly the MB portal.
The coaching checklist allows you to record a patients progress and see at a glance their progress. This is an ongoing document for internal use.
In the coaching checklist, you can pull up a summary for that client.
The summary will include a progress chart of measurements, you can toggle any of these off by clicking on them to show the chart for any combination of measurements.
You can print the progress chart.
In the summary, you can also print the certification of completion.
Within the treatment notes, appointment types have been defined for each appointment. These cannot be edited to comply with Metabolic Balance workflows. You can still edit your previously existing appointment types.
The appointment type will include a checklist of what to cover in the appointment, test summary, consult notes, supplement and other treatment provided.
When completing the measurements, the left hand column is for the result and the right hand side is for extra info. For example, waist measurement is 105cm with an additional note of "measurement taken at navel".
If you require more prompts or structure for the consult notes field, you can build a content block to insert that includes the extra details you require. Content -> Content Library ->Add.
Create prescription -> Do prescription as normal.
At this stage supplement rationale will not carry over and will need to re-entered when working on the newly converted prescription.
Herbals cannot be entered in the MB prescription section, If you are a Nat offering MB -> you can enter herbals after you create prescription.

In Report Centre, you will see the patient progress report in custom reports. This will show the most recent appointment the client is up to.
